Dr. Khaled Shukran is an experienced academic and researcher in
international business and marketing, with a particular focus on digital
transformation, knowledge transfer, and the integration of AI in education and
business decision-making. Currently serving at Sunway Business School, Sunway University,
Malaysia. He is committed to advancing innovative pedagogies and impactful
learning experiences. With a deep understanding of curriculum design,
large-class teaching, and assessment innovation, Dr. Shukran brings a critical
and forward-thinking perspective to educational excellence. In 2025, he is
proudly participating in the QS Reimagine Education Awards, contributing as a
judge to recognize transformative solutions that address global educational
challenges through scalable, tech-driven innovation.
Dr. Khaled Shukran is a lecturer (assistant professor) at Sunway Business School, Sunway University, Malaysia, where he focuses on international business, digital transformation, and the role of AI in higher education. With a PhD from Universiti Malaya -ranked among the QS Top 60 global universities—his research explores how emerging technologies and knowledge systems shape business and education in dynamic markets.
Dr. Shukran brings a unique blend of academic excellence and industry insight, having served as a Business Intelligence Developer at a leading MSC-status firm. He is also an Advisory Board Member at Elsevier, where he contributes to the development of research tools and publishing innovation.
A committed education innovator, Dr. Shukran has judged for the QS Reimagine Education Awards in 2022, 2024, and now 2025, with a keen eye for scalable, tech-enabled solutions that enhance learning outcomes, inclusion, and global relevance. He holds certifications in AI and Machine Learning from Harvard Business School and CELTA from the British Council, and he has presented his work at top international forums including the Academy of International Business (AIB).
