Lina Ahmad is an Associate Professor at Zayed University and is currently pursuing her PhD at Cardiff University. She has over a decade of professional experience in the UAE and co-founded the Design Research Unit LIMass, focusing on modern architectural heritage, digital fabrication, and immersive technologies. Ahmad is a contributor to the Venice Architecture Biennale 2025 and has exhibited her research in several regional and international platforms, including at the Smithsonian Institution’s Folklife Festival 2022 in Washington, DC. Her academic work spans publications, design-led investigations, and international conference presentations. In 2025, she co-edited a book publication on Teaching Design for Sustainable Futures.
