Marcelo Hamilton Sbarra, an architect and urban planner, is a distinguished graduate of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) in 2004. His academic journey includes a specialization in Human Sciences (Sociology, History, and Philosophy) from PUCRS, a Teaching for Higher Education degree from UAM, a master's degree (2007), and a doctorate (2020) from the renowned Postgraduate Program in Architecture at UFRJ (PROARQ). Currently, he serves as an Adjunct Fellow at the University of the Sunshine Coast, where he conducts his postdoctoral research. 


Marcelo Sbarra's expertise extends beyond academia. He has a wealth of practical experience in the area of ​​Executive Projects, having worked on buildings of various sizes, including 'mixed-use' projects and large projects with multiple towers and shopping malls. He believes that the architect's mastery of facilities, structure, and legislation is crucial for project execution, and he is passionate about developing students' language skills during the design process. In addition to his professional work, Marcelo Sbarra is a dedicated teacher, sharing his knowledge and love for architecture with his students.
