Dr. L. Mary Gladence is working as a Professor in the School of Computing, Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai, India. She has 19 years of experience on the academic side. She finished her Ph.D in the domain of Data Mining in the year 2017 from the Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology. Her research interests include deep learning, artificial intelligence, data mining, sequential pattern Mining, pattern recognition, machine learning, bio computing, data analytics, with more than 95 publications in these areas, which are indexed in Scopus as well as SCIE databases. She is a member of IAENG, IEI, and ACM. She has served as a Guest Editor in Int. J. Information and Computer Security, Generative Artificial Intelligence In Computational Intelligence And Biomechanics, Frontiers in Psychology- Special Issue on “Contemporary Learning in STEAMEducation: Pedagogies, Psychologies and Applications”,  Journal of Supercomputing-Special Issue on “Data mining for IoT in mobile edge computing”, International Journal of Grid and Utility Computing etc., She has been a reviewer in refereed international journals like International Journal of Cloud Computing, IEEE Access, Library Hi-Tech, Cluster Computing, Inder science, Journal of Super Computing, Journal of Medical and Biological Engineering, Computer communications, etc.,. She has completed a project titled “Cattle form management using RFID tags”, funded by Unnat Bharat Abhiyan(UBA), MHRD, Govt of India, and the project titled “Inventorization of E-Waste Management - The Global Scenario”, Technology Business Incubator, NSTEDB- DST, Govt of India. She served as a primary evaluator and judge for Toycathon 2021, Toycathon 2022, and Smart India Hackathon (SIH 2021), SIH2022 & SIH2023, QS Reimagine 2024.
