
Dr. Maryam Amirrad is a dedicated pediatrician, educator, and researcher currently serving as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Ajman University College of Medicine (AUCoM) and Consultant Pediatrician.
Dr. Maryam established the pediatric curriculum at AUCoM. She spearheaded the assessment, development, and implementation of a new curriculum grounded in evidence-based data, emphasizing innovative teaching methods tailored to today's students. Her overarching aim is to foster positive advancements in society's healthcare and enhance patient safety.
Dr. Maryam is a dedicated healthcare professional with over two decades of experience in clinical pediatrics and pediatric infectious diseases. Her qualifications include an MBBS from KU, a fellowship from RCPCH, a Diploma in PID from Oxford University, and an MEd from the University of Ottawa. For the past seventeen years, she has passionately served as a medical educator across undergraduate, postgraduate, and health professional levels. Moreover, Dr. Maryam has actively contributed to research in clinical pediatrics and medical education and guided medical students in their research projects.
