
Associate Professor Sr Dr. Natasha Khalil is a Senior Lecturer in the Program of Quantity Surveying, College of Built Environment (KAB) at Universiti Teknologi MARA Perak Branch (UiTM Perak), Seri Iskandar Campus, Perak, Malaysia. She holds a PhD in Building Science & Performance from Universiti Malaya (UM) and MSc. in Facilities Management from UiTM. Her first degree is Bachelor of Quantity Surveying (Hons) from UiTM. She has been involved in several consultancy projects with various organisations, including Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), Malaysian Green Technology and Climate Change Corporation (MGTC), United Nation Development Program (UNDP) and Construction Research Institute of Malaysia (CREAM). She has also secured several research grants, including from the Ministry of Economis Malaysia (KE) and Ministry of Higher Education (KPT). Her research interest includes Building Performance Evaluation, Facilities Management, Green Procurement in Construction, Risk Management, Circular Economy (Construction) and Post Occupancy Evaluation.
She has published more than 100 publications including in several high-impact indexed journals and a reviewer for international indexed journals. She is also a Consultant Quantity Surveyor (CQS), Board of Quantity Surveyors Malaysia (BQSM), member of The Royal Institution of Surveyors Malaysia (RISM) and a Certified Assessor of Sustainable INFRASTAR; awarded by CIDB Malaysia. She invited speaker in seminars/workshops related to green procurement, life cycle cost, indexed publications, research methodology, and data analysis using Analytical Hierarchy Process and ATLAS.ti software. She is now served as Program Coordinator for Master of Science in Green Architecture, under the Centre of Postgraduate Studies, UiTM Perak Branch.
