With over nine years of experience in higher education, she has held various roles at Gerardo Barrios University, ranging from full-time lecturer to her current position as Research Director. In this role, she leads strategies to strengthen scientific output, promote research networks, and foster and institutional culture aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). 

Her participation in international scientific congresses and forums reflexts her strong commitment to generating knowledge that is both useful and relevant to the environmental and social challenges of the region. In all her areas of action, she combines academic rigor with a humanistic and inclusive vision of development.
