Dr. Okka Adiyanto is a lecturer and researcher specializing in industrial engineering, ergonomics, and sustainability. He currently serves as a Lecturer (Lektor) at the Department of Industrial Engineering, Faculty of Industrial Technology, Universitas Ahmad Dahlan (UAD), Yogyakarta, Indonesia. He was born in Wonosobo, Central Java, on March 15, 1991.

He earned his bachelor's degree in Agricultural Engineering from Universitas Gadjah Mada, focusing his undergraduate thesis on developing a hybrid solar and biomass-powered food dryer. He continued his postgraduate studies at Pusan National University, South Korea, in Bio-Industrial Machinery Engineering, and completed his Ph.D. in Manufacturing Engineering at Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (UTeM). His doctoral research addressed the optimization and design analysis of PET resin-based sustainable bricks for eco-friendly construction.

Dr. Okka is an active editorial board member for two nationally accredited journals (SINTA 2): Spektrum Industri and SPEKTA. He also serves as a reviewer for several reputable international journals indexed in Scopus, including Case Studies in Construction Materials (Q1), Journal of the Australian Ceramic Society (Q3), and others.

His research interests span industrial ergonomics, sustainable materials, artificial intelligence in product design, and green production systems. Over the past five years, he has led numerous research and community service projects funded by UAD and government bodies. These include the development of eco-electric pedicabs, ergonomic studies in traditional brickmaking, sustainable waste-to-material innovations, and cross-cultural education on halal tourism.

Dr. Okka has published more than 20 scientific papers in national and international journals, including Sustainability (Scopus Q1), Journal of Mechanical Engineering and Sciences (Q2), and International Journal of Integrated Engineering (Q3). He has also presented his research at international conferences in Indonesia, Malaysia, and South Korea.

In addition to his academic achievements, he holds several intellectual property rights, including a simple patent for an ergonomic desk, and an industrial design patent for a smoke insulator. He is also the author of the book "Ergonomics in Everyday Life," published in 2024.

With a strong interdisciplinary approach, Dr. Okka Adiyanto continues to contribute to academic advancement, sustainable innovation, and community empowerment through research, publications, and applied social initiatives.
