
A dedicated, dynamic and
highly successful Chartered Engineer, CEng –UK-, Chartered Scientist –CSci-UK,
ABET Program Evaluator (ABET PEV-USA), Middle State Commission on Higher
Education peer evaluator, MSCHE PE, International Professional Registration Advisor
(IPRA-IET) and International Professional Engineer IntPE who combines a strong
academic background, PhD in Telecommunication Engineering, with a proven track
record in leadership roles in evaluating and developing of engineering
curriculum in accordance with the Washington Accord, EAC, ABET and
Outcomes-Based Education approach.
Have over 17 years of
experience in teaching, research, and academic leadership at various
international universities, including Multimedia University, the National
University of Malaysia, Al-Madinah International University, and the American
University of Kurdistan.
I served as the Associate Dean
of the College of Engineering at Al-Madinah International University from
February 8, 2016 to August 18, 2018. During a challenging period with limited
resources, I successfully led the College of Engineering and secured its first
accreditation for the college’ programs.
I joined AUK in July 2019 and
was promoted to Chair of the Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering
Department in August 2021. In August 2023, I was promoted to Associate
Professor. Additionally, I was accepted as an ABET Program Evaluator (PEV) in June
2023 and became a MSCHE Peer Evaluator in June 2024. I am currently leading the
department in its pursuit of first-time accreditation.
