He holds a Bachelor's degree in Administration from the Instituto Tecnológico de Comitán and a Master's degree in Finance from the Instituto de Estudios Superiores de Chiapas.

He teaches at the Bachelor's and Master's levels at the Instituto Tecnológico de Comitán with twenty-three years of experience.

He has experience as a teaching staff member at the Instituto Tecnológico Nacional de México/Comitán Campus in the areas of Communication and Outreach, Economic and Administrative Sciences, Financial Resources, and Technology Management and Outreach.

In 2014, he was part of the Proyecta 100,000 Federal Program scholarship group and participated in an academic and cultural stay at Oklahoma State University.

In 2020, he was a visiting professor at the University of Cundinamarca, Fusagasugá Campus, in Colombia, using the Aula Espejo format.

In 2020, he founded the Intelligent Business Vision Podcast, which he hosts and through which he has had the opportunity to share experiences of innovation, entrepreneurship, and business models in Latin America (https://maxvillanueva.start.page/).

Since 2023, he has integrated artificial intelligence tools into his professional activities in three main areas:

1. Content creation

2. Teaching practice in the area of ​​Administrative Economics

3. Application in the development of business models

This has allowed him to follow the meteoric evolution of these technologies and establish a very human aspect as the main criterion for leveraging them: the curiosity to learn.
