ENGR. REYNALDO P. RAMOS, Ph.D, EnP is the 9th President of the Technological University of the Philippines (TUP), a licensed Civil Engineer and Environmental Planner. He was recently honored with the 2024 Distinguished Alumni Award by the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Thailand. He also serves as the Chairperson of SEANERGY in early 2025 - a regional network for engineering and sustainable development in collaboration with Commission on Higher Education (CHED) and Universiti Technologi Petronas (UTP), Malaysia.  He also serves as the Vice President –External of the Philippine Institute of Environmental Planners (PIEP) – Romblon Chapter. Engr. Ramos’ research interests include river system management, urban planning, green building, GIS applications, alternative construction materials, and quality assurance. Engr Ramos is an alumnus of TUP-Manila, Ulster University (Northern Ireland, UK), and the University of Queensland (Australia).
