Romain Pouzou graduated from the Bachelor of Commerce
program at the European Business School in Bordeaux, France, and earned a
Master's degree in Financial Engineering from Queen's University of Belfast,
Northern Ireland. He is currently pursuing his doctorate program at the
University of Durham in the United Kingdom. He has served as an entrepreneur
and CFO of several startups, one of which, Limonetik, is listed in the top 100
technology companies by Forbes. Since 2012, he has been working at the
Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education as a professor and
consultant in the fields of finance and entrepreneurship. He also holds the
position of Regional Director of Social Entrepreneurship in the Central-South
region and currently works as a teaching professor at the School of
Entrepreneurship.
Additionally, he serves as a consultant in the social
entrepreneurship incubator "México Irrazonable" since 2013 and is a
co-author of the books "México 10 emprendedores sociales" and
"Emprendimiento en acción." He has been recognized three times in the
QS-Wharton Re-Imagine Education Award for his work in educational innovation,
being a finalist in 2019 and 2023, and achieving the third-place worldwide
award in 2021. In 2022 and 2023, he was honored as a Distinguished Professor of
the Business School at the Tecnológico de Monterrey as well as an Inspiring
Professor in the year 2025.
Furthermore, Romain Pouzou serves as a Lead
Facilitator for continuing education, where he develops and implements
financial reasoning courses for business leaders to support decision-making.
