
Sandhir Sharma is a Vice Chancellor of Chitkara University, Punjab India with 25 years of experience in academia/higher education management. His core experties is Strategy formulation, Sustainability, International Marketing & Higher Education. Before joining academia, he was working with telecom company for 5 years.
Sandhir Sharma is Ph.D. in Strategic Management with nearly 25 years of experience in higher education and 5 years in Telecom industry. With more than 190 research papers to his credit published in various journals and presented in conferences at national & international level, Dr. Sharma has developed his core expertise in the area of Strategy formulation. His research has widely published in various newspapers. Currently, he is serving as Vice Chancellor, Chitkara University, Punjab & visiting faculty to Binus University, Indonesia and University of Applied Sciences, Osnabruck, Germany. He has been instrumental in scaling Chitkara Business School operations from 60 students & one program to 3500 plus students & more than 12 programs with in span of first 10 years. In his last assignment, Dr. Sharma set up a B-School in Ludhiana and was instrumental in taking that B-School to pinnacle of glory in the region. He is widely travelled all across the globe for participation in academic events. He is an active member of various management associations and University bodies. He has guided more than 5000 students in the field of business management all across streams of Commerce and Management so far. He is serving as consultant to various SME organizations in the area of strategy formulation. He is Major Guide to 10 Ph.D. Scholars from Academia and Industry. As of now, 10 of his students have already completed their Ph.D. successfully in the fields of Neuromarketing| Consumers| Foods| Organic Foods, Work Engagement, Brands |Brands Personality| Brand love, Television|Broadcasting|Digital Television and Green Marketing| Consumer Behaviour. He has filed 14 patents in the fields of Health sciences, life sciences, social sciences, technology and industrial products.
