I’m a public health researcher and digital health strategist, currently contributing to PhD-level epidemiologic research at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. In parallel, I serve as an Advisor at the Advanced Research Center (ARC), where I support interdisciplinary innovation in education and health. I bring a systems-thinking lens to this year’s QS Reimagine Education Awards judging panel—focusing on high-impact solutions at the intersection of data, equity, and education.
I am a clinician-turned-public health professional with a multidisciplinary background spanning dental surgery, clinical trials, genomics, and digital health strategy. Currently, I’m pursuing an MPH in Epidemiology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where I also work as a Graduate Research Assistant on PhD-level research examining medication-induced delirium in older adults. My work leverages high-performance computing and advanced analytics to inform geriatric health interventions.
I also serve as an Advisor at the Advanced Research Center (ARC), where I contribute to conversations around research-led education reform and health innovation. Earlier in my career, I led centralized monitoring for global vaccine and oncology trials at IQVIA, serving as the point of contact for international stakeholders and gaining invaluable experience in regulatory compliance, people management, and cross-cultural collaboration.
During my time at UAB, I also contributed to breast cancer gene mapping research, which resulted in a Springer Nature publication. This project deepened my interest in data-driven care solutions and the translation of research into practice.
Whether through scientific research, educational policy, or interdisciplinary advisory work, I remain committed to advancing equitable, evidence-informed innovation—and I’m honored to bring that perspective to the 2025 QS Reimagine Education Awards.
