Sr. Merceditas Ang, SPC is the incumbent President of St. Paul University Philippines in Tuguegarao City. She is a member of the Management Association of the Philippines (MAP) and President of the World Council for Curriculum and Instruction (WCCI) Philippine Chapter. A lawyer by profession and a religious sister by vocation, she has extensive experience in the fields of education, law, internationalization, research and innovation, peace and social justice, and environmental stewardship. She is affiliated with various national and international organizations. Likewise, she pursues holistic and value-based human development, technology-enabled transformative education, and has published research on 21^st century learning and global education. She advocates quality education for nation-building and the promotion of a just, peaceful, sustainable, and better world.
