Dr. Surya Narayan Panda holds a Ph.D. in (Computer Science) Computer Network Security from Kurukshetra University, Haryana and currently serves as the Pro Vice Chancellor (Research) of Chitkara University, Punjab.

In his previous roles, he served as the

·       Executive Director & Professor of Research at Chitkara University, Punjab.

·       Director & Professor  of Research at Chitkara University, Punjab.

·   Principal & Professor of the Regional Institute of Management and Technology, Punjab.  

·       Lecturer & HOD Computer Science at S.A. Jain (PG) College, Ambala City, Haryana.

1.      Over 30 years of experience in Teaching, Administration, Research  and Innovation.

2.      20 Ph.D. (Computer Science) awarded under his supervision, and guided 30 M.Phil and M.Tech scholars.

4.   Received National Level Milliennium Alliance Award from Ministry of Science & Tech., Govt. of India.

5.      Filed 157 Patents, with 49 Patents Published and 22 Utility Patents granted by the Indian Patent Office, Govt. of India and  5 Technologies Transferred.                                                                         

6.      Leading  6 DST funded Projects and 13 Industrial Consultancy Projects worth Indian Rupees 4 Crore.

7.     Trained Assessor of NAAC, Bangalore, Chairman of  NAAC Peer Team Visits in Indian Colleges/Universities.

8.  Empanelled Consultant for All Indian Universities by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi.

9.     Senior Member of IEEE, Senior Member of the World Leadership Academy, and Life Member of IAENG.
