Vanessa Mendes is a Program Manager and Lecturer at the Swiss Education Group, where she leads the MA in International Hospitality Business Management and teaches modules in event and hospitality management. Currently pursuing a Doctorate in Education Sciences at the University of Coimbra (Portugal), her research focuses on well-being in educational settings, reflecting her commitment to nurturing supportive and meaningful learning environments. 

Vanessa brings extensive international experience, having managed career and placement services at the Swiss Alpine Center and held leadership roles with renowned hospitality brands such as Jumeirah Group and Hyatt Hotels. She holds multiple academic and professional qualifications, including a Certificate in Food & Beverage Management from Cornell University. In addition to her academic and industry contributions, she serves as a judge for the QS Reimagine Education Awards, further highlighting her dedication to educational innovation and excellence.
