Dr. Zafar Azeem, PT, PhD, is a distinguished professional with 15 years of experience in sports medicine and physiotherapy. He currently serves as a Professor at Dr. D.Y. Patil College of Physiotherapy in Pune, Maharashtra. Dr. Azeem's extensive professional background includes working with adolescent, adult, and professional athletes. He is an expert in a broad range of physiotherapy treatments and programs designed to restore function and improve sports performance and general fitness. His areas of interest include barefoot training, physiotherapy education, and sports training program design. In 2023, Dr. Azeem was awarded the prestigious World Physiotherapy Bursary, a recognition of excellence in physiotherapy research and education.
