Dr. Abdullah Aldarani has served as a judge for the QS Reimagine Education Awards for three consecutive years (2024–2026). He works at the intersection of higher education, government digital transformation, and technology policy in Saudi Arabia. He currently serves as a Member of the Investment Committee for the Supervision of University Investments at Saudi Arabia's Council of Universities Affairs, and previously served as Executive Director of EDGEx 2025, the Kingdom's national education exhibition and conference held in Riyadh. He brings extensive experience in digital transformation standards and international quality frameworks, including reviewing and evaluating academic curricula in artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and computer engineering across multiple universities against global benchmarks. His track record also includes leading technical and technology-driven projects and providing institutional consulting to government and academic organizations. His research interests include wireless sensor networks, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, data science, and smart cities, and he has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications in these areas. He is also widely recognized as a media commentator on digital transformation, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity, appearing regularly on national television and contributing to the national press on technology policy.
