Professor Dr. Adel Ahmed is a Professor of Accounting and Ethical & Sustainable Finance at Amity University Dubai and Head of the Sustainable Finance Workgroup of the UAE Universities Climate Network. He brings more than 25 years of international experience in higher education, research, academic leadership, and professional development across the UK, UAE, and wider international context.

His work focuses on sustainable and ethical finance, responsible business education, AI-enabled learning, ESG, and higher education innovation. He has held senior academic leadership positions, including Academic President, Vice President, Dean, and Founding Head of Accounting and Finance, and is actively engaged in research, international conferences, industry collaboration, and initiatives connecting education with sustainability and societal impact.
