
Dr
Aditya Kumar Tiwary is a Professor and Associate Dean at the University Centre
for Research & Development (UCRD), Chandigarh University, Mohali, India,
with over 12 years of experience in civil and structural engineering. He holds
a PhD in Civil Engineering and specializes in Structural Engineering, with a
strong focus on advanced composite materials, high-performance concrete,
including supplementary cementitious materials (SCMs), and fire-resilient
concrete systems. Dr Tiwary’s research is closely linked with the United
Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically SDG 9 (Industry and
Innovation) and SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities), through the development of
sustainable materials and infrastructure. Dr Tiwary authored over 90
publications in SCI/SCIE/Scopus-indexed journals. He is recognized among the
World’s Top 2% Scientists (Stanford University & Elsevier, 2025),
reflecting his global research impact in fire-resilient and sustainable
infrastructure systems.
