Dr. Afshan Younas is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Business Studies at the Arab Open University, Oman. She holds a PhD in Accounting and Finance and has over 21 years of academic, research, and leadership experience. Her expertise includes corporate governance, corporate social responsibility, accounting, finance, sustainability, and higher education quality assurance. Dr. Younas has played a key role in leading the OQF alignment and PSA accreditation processes, secured multiple competitive research grants, and published in Scopus- and Web of Science-indexed journals. She also serves as an external examiner, conference reviewer, session chair, and QS Reimagine Education Awards Judge, contributing actively to the international academic community.
