Ahmed Attia, a professor of supply chain management, has over 25 years of experience in higher education. He has a master’s degree in business management—operations management from Alexandria University, Egypt, and a Ph.D. in business management—supply chain management from the same institution. Dr. Attia's primary research interests are in logistics, supply chain management, and operations management. He is a member of the following organizations: IEOM, INFORMS, CSCMP, AOM, and APICS. He has held various positions throughout his career, including consultant for accreditation and ranking and head of the supply chain management department at the University of Business and Technology.
