I graduated from a Teacher Training University and have 31 years of teaching experience. I have worked at both secondary schools and higher education establishments. I am now a Director of the SIU Language and Lifelong Learning Centre and a General Education Lecturer at Shinawatra University, Pathum Thani, Thailand. Despite the university degree, I was doing research at the Scientific Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology of Vocational Education in Kazan, Russia, and have made several publications at regional, national, and international conferences, including one article for a scientific journal “Science and Education” (Russia). The topic of my research was “Peculiarities and Content of Linguistic and Cultural Studies as Part of Establishing the Dialogue of Cultures”. In 2009, I successfully passed the TKT exam (University of Cambridge ESOL Examination), and in 2013, I completed a 120-hour TEFL/ TESOL course at UniTEFL International Centre in Chiang Mai, Thailand, and in 2023, I completed the Being a Teacher Trainer course from Sheffield University, UK. My research interests are problems in teaching pronunciation, using literature in the ELT classroom, teaching life skills, psychology in ELT, cultural studies in teaching English, and questions in developing functional literacy.
