
Alfredo Fonseca is an entrepreneur and international education leader with more than 25 years of experience building organizations and advancing internationalization and entrepreneurship across the education sector. As the founder of VEKST Education, he partners with universities and educational organizations throughout the world to strengthen internationalization strategies, develop entrepreneurial ecosystems, and create meaningful global partnerships that enhance institutional impact and student success.
Alfredo previously founded Intercultura, one of Central America's leading international education organizations, which has provided international learning opportunities to more than 10,000 participants. Throughout his career, he has launched and led multiple education-focused ventures driven by a commitment to innovation, global engagement, and youth development. He holds a B.S. in Finance and Entrepreneurship from Babson College and a Master's degree in International Economics and Management from Università Bocconi. Drawing on his experience as both an entrepreneur and higher education leader, Alfredo is passionate about helping institutions prepare globally minded graduates equipped with the entrepreneurial mindset needed to thrive in a rapidly changing world
