Alper Utku is the founder and president of Amsterdam Tech, a higher education institution that integrates technology with leadership development to prepare students for the challenges of the digital era. Since 2015, he has led the institution’s growth, shaping a practice-oriented curriculum that connects academic learning with real-world industry needs.


He also serves as Partner and Director of Team Academy Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, an innovative Dutch University of Applied Sciences recognised for its experiential approach to entrepreneurship, leadership, and technology, where students learn through real business projects and team-based learning.


In addition, Alper is President of the Board of Trustees of European Leadership University in Cyprus, and Executive Chairman and Founding Partner of Management Centre Türkiye (MCT), a role he has held for over three decades.


Holding a Doctorate in Organisational Change and Leadership from Middlesex University, Alper brings academic rigour to his leadership practice. His experience spans advisory and leadership roles with organisations such as B for Good Leaders and Fundación Innovación Bankinter. He also serves on the advisory board of Thinkers50 and contributes to the Nederlandse AI Coalitie, reflecting his ongoing commitment to innovation, responsible leadership, and emerging technologies.


Alper is multilingual, fluent in English, Turkish, and French, with working proficiency in German and Dutch. His career is dedicated to reshaping education and leadership to meet the evolving demands of a technology-driven world.
