
Amanda is currently the Co-founder and CEO of STEMi Makers of Africa, a social enterprise organization in 19 African nations, UK and in the USA that boosts employment, innovation and empowered over 650,000 young Africans to be competent using its e-learning teacher-centered platform to re-imagine education through sensor technology, artificial intelligence and physical computing.
Under Amanda’s leadership, STEMi Makers of Africa secured eight (8) high-valued partnerships with the U.S Government of State (Public Affairs State) and Mastercard Foundation that built and launched STEMi simplified computer kits and the first teacher-centered platform for more than 30,000 educators in Africa. This innovation cultivated students to gather information during science experiments, project-based work on robotics and research in engineering.
Named as the Top 20 Influential Women in technology in Africa, Amanda is a Mastery Awardee in Artificial Intelligence by the IBM, a data scientist, embedded robotics scientist and a policy expert in STEM education with more than 13 years experience in directing innovative-driven social enterprises, start-ups and complex organizations across Africa, Europe and MENA Nations. She has also served on the IEEE New Initiatives Committee, IEEE Global Public Policy and the African Union Continental Education Strategy for Africa (CESA) in STEM Education. Owing to her contribution in Science and Technology, she was recently named a Fellow of the New York Academy of Science and leading 25 Women contributing to the evolution of Artificial Intelligence in 2025.
