Dr. Amruta Deshpande is a Professor at the School of Business, Indira University, and currently serves as the Associate Dean – Research and Development.

 

With over 17 years of rich academic and research experience, Dr. Deshpande has made significant contributions to management education. Her teaching and research interests primarily span Organizational Behavior, Human Resource Management, Theory of Management, and Management Fundamentals, with a focus on mentoring postgraduate and master’s students toward professional excellence.

 

She is a Certified Emotional Intelligence Specialist, Executive Life Coach, and Psychometric Test Professional, and holds global credentials as a Master Trainer, Facilitator, and Performance & Competence Developer. She is also a Certified Microsoft Innovative Educator and has participated in the X-Culture Global Research Collaboration Project. To further strengthen her academic expertise, she has attended several Management Development Programmes (MDPs) at leading IIMs.

 

Dr. Deshpande has published nearly 65+ research papers in reputable national and international journals indexed in Scopus, ABDC, and Web of Science (WoS) referred Journals, covering areas such as career management, contemporary HR practices, and emerging HR trends. She is also the author and co-author of multiple books and edited volumes.

 

Recognized for her expertise, she serves on the editorial and review boards of over 25+ high-quality journals indexed in Scopus, ABDC, and WoS. Her ongoing contributions aim to bridge the gap between academic research and industry practices and to foster a research-driven culture in management education.
