
Andrew Conlan-Trant has been Chair of Dublin Business School since 2024, having spent the eight years prior to that as President of the College. He is also Vice President of International Business Development for Kaplan International, a global education and training company.
Having held leadership positions in a number of businesses over his career, Andrew has skill and experience in leadership, governance, strategy and operational implementation, some of which was gained in the health and social care sector.
He holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Higher Diploma in Education from the University of Galway, and a Masters in Management from Queen’s University Belfast. He is an accredited Chartered Director of the Institute of Directors.
He was appointed in 2025 by the Irish Minister for Health to the governing Council of CORU, the Irish Health & Social Care Regulator. In 2026 he was also appointed by SOLAS, the state agency responsible for Further Education and Training (FET) in Ireland, as the Independent Chair of the Programme Board for the Electrical Craft Apprenticeship.
