
Antonio Boada is an Investigador Asociado recognized by MinCiencias in Colombia and a Full-Time Professor and Researcher at CEIPA, powered by ASU. He holds a Magister in Finance from IESA, a Specialization in Computational Statistics from Universidad Simón Bolívar (USB), and a Bachelor in Education from Universidad Católica Andrés Bello (UCAB). With over 30 years of experience in higher education and 15 years as a corporate consultant, he specializes in quantitative methodologies, demand planning, and supply chain management. Boada is distinguished for developing hybrid statistical models that combine classical frequentist methods with Dynamic Bayesian Linear Models (MLDB) to optimize real-time forecasting and corporate valuation. As a pedagogical innovator, he leads the SIGMA Research Seedbed and the Prospective Line at CEIPA, where he has rigorously proven the parity of professional competencies between virtual and face-to-face education models through the analysis of Colombia's Saber Pro tests. Furthermore, he is a pioneer in the responsible integration of Generative AI in higher education, leading the development of UBI, a virtual assistant trained to enhance critical thinking and complex problem-solving in students. Boada has authored more than 40 indexed scientific articles and over 10 books derived from research projects, and he holds an international certification in Quantitative Risk Management (CQRM).
