Antonio Luis Juárez Negrete is an Assistant Professor of Architecture at the School of Architecture, Art and Design of Tecnológico de Monterrey, Campus Querétaro, Mexico. He holds a Master’s degree in Restoration of Historic Sites and Monuments and has extensive experience in architectural representation, digital modeling, immersive technologies, and technology-enhanced design education. His teaching and research focus on the integration of generative artificial intelligence, augmented reality, virtual reality, mixed realities, and photogrammetry into architectural learning environments. He has developed international collaborative projects involving universities in Mexico, Spain, Chile, and Colombia. In 2026, he completed a research and teaching mobility period at ETSAB–Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya in Barcelona, where he implemented an AI–XR workflow in Architectural Representation I. His work emphasizes student agency, critical technological literacy, ethical AI use, and immersive validation in architectural design education.
