Prof. Mohammed Aquil Mirza is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Computing at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and Dean & Professor at the School of Low-Altitude Digital Intelligence, Liaoning Technical University. A Fellow of IES (UK), Fellow of IETE, and Senior Member of IEEE, he brings extensive expertise at the intersection of AI, AIoT, robotics, and translational computing pedagogy. He is an award-winning educator (UGC Teaching Award University Nominee 2026, PolyU Early Career Teaching Faculty Award and IETE & IHERD Teaching Excellence Award) and the author of several monographs on engineering education, including "Translational Computing Pedagogies for Interdisciplinary Classrooms" (IGI Global) and "Operating Systems with Rust" (Wiley-IEEE Press). Prof. Mohammed serves as General Chair for major international educational conferences and leads multiple interdisciplinary R&D and educational innovation initiatives globally.
