Associate Professor Arezou PourMirza is an award-winning Senior Academic in the School of Business at Torrens University Australia, widely recognised for her transformative leadership in higher education, systems thinking, and business analytics. Her dedication to educational excellence has earned her numerous prestigious honours, including the 2026 QLD ACEL Excellence Award in Educational Leadership, the 2025 Association for Learning Technology (ALT) Individual Award, and the title of Australasia's Most Inspirational MBA Lecturer in 2024. In addition, she was recognised as a global finalist for both the 2025 QS Reimagine Education Awards and the EduTech Asia Outstanding Educator Award, chosen from hundreds of international applicants.

Dr PourMirza holds a PhD in Business Analytics and Information Systems from Deakin University, Australia. With over two decades of professional experience spanning corporate leadership and academia, she brings a wealth of practical expertise to her work. Before her academic career, she excelled in senior management roles across product development, marketing, and business analytics, collaborating with domestic and international partners. This rich background uniquely enables her to bridge complex theoretical concepts with real-world industry application.

A commitment to lifelong learning and innovation defines her career. In 2021, Dr PourMirza became the first female academic in Australia to complete the MIT Advanced Certificate for Executives (ACE) in Management, Innovation, and Technology. She continuously integrates cutting-edge insights into her teaching and research, empowering postgraduate and Higher Degree Research (HDR) students to thrive in technology-disrupted business environments. As an active contributor to national and international professional bodies, Dr PourMirza remains deeply passionate about shaping the future of education, fostering student success, and advancing academic integrity.
