I am a Senior Lecturer in Human Resource Management with experience in teaching, research, training, human resource development, and entrepreneurship within the higher education industry. My responsibilities include delivering curriculum, conducting research, and providing academic and professional guidance to students. In addition to my academic role, I am actively involved in community engagement initiatives through collaborations with government agencies, industry players, and alumni.
I obtained my PhD in Human Resource Management from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, Scotland. My research focuses on women engineers and careers in STEM, particularly turnover factors among women engineers from both work and non-work environments. My thesis adopted Lewin’s Field Theory to examine how individual and environmental factors interact in influencing turnover intention, job embeddedness, and retention among women engineers. My work contributes to the understanding of retention strategies and gender diversity in engineering.
Beyond academia, I have served as a judge in various international innovation competitions and have contributed to the peer-review process for several indexed journals.
