
Dr. Ayu Krishna Yuliawati is an Associate Professor of Management at Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI), Indonesia, with over 26 years of experience in higher education, research, and international development. Her work focuses on sustainable marketing, digital transformation, artificial intelligence for decision support, climate resilience, and the empowerment of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs).
She leads the Management Science and Entrepreneurship Development (MIND) Research Group and has successfully led multidisciplinary research and consultancy projects funded by organizations including UNDP, GIZ, DFAT, USAID, UNICEF, Oxfam, and the Government of Indonesia. Her research integrates AI, geospatial analytics, and sustainability to support evidence-based policymaking and inclusive economic development. She is also the creator of SiTangguh, an AI-powered platform designed to enhance MSME resilience and sustainable business development in UNESCO Global Geoparks.
Dr. Yuliawati serves as a scientific committee member, journal reviewer, and international research evaluator, contributing to peer review processes for research grants, conferences, and scholarly publications. She has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and books and has led more than 100 research and community development projects across Indonesia and the ASEAN region.
As a QS Awards judge, she brings a multidisciplinary perspective, international development experience, and a strong commitment to fairness, evidence-based evaluation, innovation, academic excellence, and meaningful societal impact. She is particularly interested in initiatives that demonstrate measurable outcomes, sustainability, and scalable solutions for global challenges.
