Dr. Dorka Horváth is the CEO and co-founder of BOOKR Kids. This award-winning European edtech company combines storytelling, AI technology, and gamification to make reading engaging for children worldwide. With an MBA and a PhD in New Media Studies, Dorka has built her career around a passion for education, storytelling, and technology.

Since founding BOOKR in 2015, she has led the company’s expansion from Budapest to over 40 countries, bringing BOOKR products- a digital library of interactive English readers aligned with curricula - to schools, teachers, and families across Europe, Asia, and the Americas. Under her leadership, BOOKR has partnered with leading publishers, ministries of education, and institutions to promote reading and language learning in innovative ways.

Dorka has been recognized as one of Europe’s most dynamic young entrepreneurs and female leaders in the education sector. She regularly speaks at international conferences on edtech, literacy, and the future of education.

Today, as CEO, her mission is to inspire a love of reading among children globally, and to empower teachers and parents with high-quality digital resources.
