Professor Bryan C. Dayuta earned his Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences from the Philippine Normal University (PNU). He completed his Master’s degree at the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM) and is currently writing his dissertation for the Doctor of Philosophy in Social Development at Philippine Women’s University.

 

He is a recipient of several prestigious awards and distinctions, including the Jose Rizal Leadership and Service Award, two-time Presidential Award for Outstanding Youth Leadership, and the Ambassador Alfredo Yuchengco National Gold Medallion for Discipline. Prior to joining PNU, Prof. Dayuta taught at San Beda College Alabang, Southville International School and Colleges, and Manila Tytana Colleges (formerly Manila Doctors College). He is currently a faculty member of the Faculty of Behavioral and Social Sciences (FBeSS) of the Philippine Normal University, the National Center for Teacher Education.

 

Prof. Dayuta remains actively engaged in community development initiatives. He serves as Chair of Project KETSANA Foundation, a non-government organization composed of young professionals providing education on health, environment, and social development to youth communities. He is a strong advocate of Child Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM) and resilience-building, and regularly serves as a volunteer consultant for youth-led programs in various Local Government Units nationwide. He is also recognized as a community organizer, youth leader, and public speaker, integrating academic work with grassroots engagement and public policy advocacy.

 

He previously served as Director of the Alumni Relations and Services Office (ARSO) of PNU. He currently holds the position of Director of the Linkages and International Office (LIO), where he leads the university’s internationalization and global engagement initiatives. Under his leadership and coordination, PNU achieved and sustained notable performance in international rankings and ratings, including:

 

  • QS Stars Rating
    • 2022: Contribution to PNU’s achievement of a QS Stars Rating of 3 Stars
    • 2025: Lead role in institutional preparations for QS Stars revalidation

 

  • Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings
    • 2023: Overall placement of 801–1000, with SDG rankings in SDG 1 (401–600), SDG 4 (301–400), SDG 5 (101–200), and SDG 17 (801–1000)
    • 2024: Overall placement of 1001–1500, with SDG rankings in SDG 4 (1001–1500), SDG 5 (201–300), and SDG 17 (1001–1500)
    • 2025: Overall placement of 1001–1500, with improved SDG results in SDG 1 (201–300), SDG 4 (801–1000), SDG 5 (101–200), and SDG 17 (1501+)

 

  • World University Rankings for Innovation (WURI)
    • 2023: Placement in the 201–300 band, with recognition in Crisis Management (Top 50 University) and Student Mobility (Top 5 University)
    • 2024: Improved ranking at Rank 265, with recognitions in Culture and Values (Rank 18) and Symbol Promotion (Rank 25)
    • 2025: Achievement of Rank 168 among 1,253 universities worldwide, with recognition in Support for Global Resilience (Rank 31) and flagship innovation programs such as MeALS, Bags of Joy, and the Developing Global Filipino Teachers’ Training Program

 

  • UI GreenMetric World University Rankings
    • 2025: Led PNU’s first participation, achieving global rank 1001–1050 and Rank 52 in the Philippines, with strong national indicator rankings in Waste (33), Water (38), Energy and Climate Change (54), Education and Research (59), Transportation (66), and Settings and Infrastructure (67)

 

At present, Prof. Dayuta’s office manages 127 active national and international university partnerships and professional networks, advancing PNU’s mission in teacher education, international collaboration, sustainability, and innovation.
