
Camilo Lozoya

Camilo Lozoya received the B.S. degree in
Electronics Engineering in 1993 from Chihuahua Institute of Technology
(Chihuahua, Mexico). He obtained a M.S. degree in 1996 in Electronic
Engineering from the Tecnologico de Monterrey (Monterrey, México). He obtained
his Ph.D. degree in 2011 in Automatic Control and Robotics from the Technical
University of Catalonia (Barcelona, Spain). He is a professor and member of the
Food Security Research Group at the School of Engineering and Science of the
Tecnologico de Monterrey. His research interests include real-time control, sensor
networks, internet of things, embedded devices, robotics, machine learning, automation,
precision agriculture and education innovation.
