CETYS University

I am a bilingual academic leader with 30+ years of experience in higher education, living in Mexico, starting as an Engineering professor in 1994, and now leading global quality assurance processes in Higher Education.

Currently I serve as Dean of Planning, Institutional Effectiveness, and Accreditation at CETYS University (Mexico), I specialize in International Accreditation (WASC, INQAAHE, ACBSP, ABET), Institutional Planning, and Strategic Project Management in Quality Assurance (QA). My expertise is evidenced by achieving maximum-term accreditations for CETYS University (WASC: 10 yrs, ACBSP: 10 yrs) with minor or no recommendations from the accreditation agencies.

I serve as a WASC, INQAAHE and ACBSP peer reviewer globally, and FIMPES within Mexico. I have successfully managed international, independent, consulting projects for interest in WASC (Institutions in Mexico, Costa Rica & Equatorial Guinea [Africa]) and ABET Accreditation (Bolivia), demonstrating a proven focus on global recognition and continuous quality improvement.
