Dr. Carrie Berger is the Executive Director of Academic Affairs for Purdue University Online and a Clinical Professor in the Purdue Polytechnic Institute. She leads the development and implementation of Purdue’s interdisciplinary online graduate programs, including the Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence, Master of Science in Data Science, and non-credit AI portfolio for workforce development. Her work focuses on scalable, flexible education for working professionals, with a commitment to innovation, cross-college collaboration, and the advancement of accessible, high-impact online learning pathways. With a Ph.D. in Medicinal Chemistry and Molecular Pharmacology from Purdue University, Dr. Berger served as Assistant Dean for Research for the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences at the University of Viginia and Associate Dean for Research and Interim Dean for the Polytechnic Institute at Purdue University before joining Purdue University Online.
