Dr. Lim possesses a decade long experience working in higher education and has embarked her educational journey in Mainland China since 2018. With a passion for fostering intellectual growth and a dynamic approach to pedagogy, Dr. Lim was awarded with BNBU President’s Award for Teaching in 2020, Young Teachers in 2023, Innovation Teaching in 2025. Her online mass media writing course was selected as Second Prize for Online Open Course Steering Committee of Guangdong Higher Institutions (Undergraduate) - Excellent Teaching Case Study during the COVID-19 Pandemic. By integrating the value of ‘harmony in diversity’ in holistic and inclusive education, the Fundamentals of Communication course taught by Dr. Lim was named as the provincial first-class curriculum by the Department of Education of Guangdong.
