
Dr. Christiane Mueck is a strategist, board member, and entrepreneur with more than twenty years of experience spanning higher education, human capital development, governance, and institutional transformation across the Middle East and Europe. Throughout her career, she has worked at the intersection of academia, government, philanthropy, and the private sector, helping to shape organizations, policies, and leadership pipelines that contribute to national development and long-term societal impact. Her work has included supporting the establishment of new universities and colleges, designing operating and governance models, leading institutional transformations, and advising senior leaders on strategy and performance.
She currently serves as Partner and Managing Director of Pyvots Advisory House, advising governments, universities, foundations, and investors on strategy, governance, organizational development, and large-scale implementation. In this role, she currently supports the build-up and growth phase of the new Zayed Education Foundation as well as the establishment of several new higher education initiatives in Saudi Arabia.
Additionally, Christiane currently serves on the Board of Trustees of Zayed University, having been appointed by the Vice President of the United Arab Emirates, and chairs the Finance, Administration and Investment Committee, overseeing institutional strategy, financial sustainability, investment decisions, and major transformation initiatives. Previously, she served as Project Director to the Vice-Chair of the Board of Regents at Qatar University while also holding the roles of Associate Vice President for Strategy and Development and Senior Advisor to the University President, contributing to the establishment of the College of Medicine and leading university-wide planning, budgeting, and transformation efforts. She also served as a female sector board member of the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation in Saudi Arabia. Earlier in her career, she co-founded and led the Middle East education practice at Boston Consulting Group, where she advised senior public- and private-sector leaders on some of the region’s most significant education and institutional reform initiatives.
She holds a PhD in Education Economics and has lived and worked in the GCC and broader MENA region for 18 years.
