
Dennis Cheek is the former Dean of the School of Entrepreneurship & Humanities at Universitas Ciputra in Indonesia. He continues as a university-wide Professor of Creativity, Innovation & Entrepreneurship. He serves since 2013 as an annual Visiting Professor of Entrepreneurship, Innovation, General Management, and Strategic Consulting at IESEG School of Management, France where he has taught a wide variety of courses and supervises student master theses. He is a former VP at both the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation and the John Templeton Foundation and a former administrator in the state education departments of New York and Rhode Island in the USA. He has extensively worked and traveled in 50+ nations and served on the editorial or manuscript review boards of 30+ peer-reviewed publications. He has taught or held research appointments in 21 universities in nine countries. He is a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (Section Q: Education), Fellow of the Royal Society of the Arts (FRSA), and a full member of the Society of Ordained Scientists (SOSc). He holds a BS, BA, MA, PhD (Penn State) and PhD (Durham). He has co-founded 15 regional, national, and international organizations.
