Faculty and a member of the Institutional Ethics Committee of De La Salle Medical and Health Sciences Institute, and the immediate past co-Chair of NCD Working Group of Association of Pacific Rim Universities. He is a candidate of Master of Arts in Nursing-Adult Health Nursing in the University of the Philippines-Manila. He earned his postgraduate studies in teaching at the University of Santo Tomas, Leadership and Management in Health at the University of Washington, and Western Pacific Climate and Health at Mailman School of Public Health, Columbia University. He also completed the Fellowship and Masterclass in Palliative and Hospice Care in WHOCC Institute of Palliative Medicine in Kerala, India.


He holds associate memberships in Sigma Xi-The Scientific Research Honor Society and National Research Council of the Philippines (NRCP)-Medical Sciences Division, and memberships in Sigma Phi Gamma and Psi Beta Chapters. He was also appointed as the Public Relations Officer of the Palliative and Hospice Care Nurses Association of the Philippines, co-Chair of the Education Committee of the Philippine Society of Palliative and Hospice Care Nurses, and one of the international diplomate representatives of International Association of Hospice and Palliative Care (IAHPC) for the WHO-Western Pacific Region regional meetings.
