Talpiot College of Education

I am a Senior Lecturer and the Head of Innovation and Creativity at Talpiot College of Education in Israel.  . My work over the past few decades has focused on the intersection of educational technology, intercultural education, and virtual world pedagogy.  . In 2005, I co-founded the TEC Center, and until recently, I directed TEC4Schools, a large-scale national initiative that uses technology to foster trust and social cohesion among diverse student populations.

Recently, my focus has been on designing immersive educational experiences in the Metaverse. . This includes developing expansive MOOCs and serving as the pedagogical architect for "Tamkin," a multi-sensory virtual world ecosystem designed to teach Hebrew to Arab speakers in higher education. I am also currently leading "Mosaic," a collaborative educational platform connecting academic institutions across the Mediterranean and Middle East..

As a former Fulbright Scholar,  ,   a 2025 EdTech Awards leadership finalist,   and a four-time Wharton-QS Reimagine Education finalist (2019, 2020, 2023, 2024),  I am honored to join this year's judging panel and look forward to exploring the latest innovations in global education.
