Faiz I. Anuar is an Associate Professor in the Department of Tourism Management at Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Kampus Puncak Alam, Selangor. He imparts knowledge on tourism innovation, technology, philosophy of tourism, event planning, event sponsorship, and event marketing. He earned his Ph.D. from Texas A&M University, USA. His research explores the intersection of technology and tourism, focusing on virtual, augmented reality (VR/AR) technology, social media, Smart Tourism Technologies, and the development of digital tourism innovation in Southeast Asia. He also has a strong interest in heritage tourism and destination marketing management. In addition to his academic work, Dr. Faiz serves as an Apple Professional Learning Specialist (APLS), an educator uniquely qualified to demonstrate how to best use Apple technologies for learning and teaching. In this role, he coaches, mentors, and supports educators through both onsite and virtual professional development engagements, helping them enhance teaching practices through innovative uses of Apple products.
