Professional Profile

A higher education expert with over 15 years of international experience in quality assurance, academic management, and public policy, dedicated to designing innovative educational processes that empower students to transform their lives and environments from a global perspective. He holds a B.A. in Political Science and Master’s degrees in both Political Science and International Cooperation and Development. His academic foundation is further enhanced by prestigious global recognitions, including being selected as a fellow for the U.S. Government’s International Visitors Leadership Program (IVLP) and the Government of Canada’s Emerging Leaders in the Americas Program (ELAP). His extensive career spans senior leadership roles across public and private sectors in Ibero-America, notably working with the Ministry of National Education of Colombia, the National Accreditation Council (CNA), and serving as Vice-Rector, Dean, and Director of Internationalization at various universities, complemented by his active role as an external peer reviewer.

His strategic approach combines a solid track record of scholarly contributions, including book chapters, journal articles, and public policy guidelines on academic governance and internationalization, with regular participation as a speaker at global academic conferences.
