
Dr. Guillermo Chans earned his B.Sc. in Chemistry (2004) and Ph.D. in Chemical Sciences (2011) from the National University of Córdoba, Argentina. He subsequently completed a postdoctoral fellowship in inorganic chemistry at the Institute of Chemistry of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) in 2014. Since 2020, he has served as Assistant Professor at Tecnológico de Monterrey and Research Professor at the Institute for the Future of Education, where he is a member of the Engaging and Motivating Learning Models Unit.
Dr. Chans has authored 33 articles in internationally recognized peer-reviewed journals and has presented his work at 18 Scopus-indexed conferences. He has also led two educational innovation projects, reflecting his commitment to advancing both scientific research and innovative teaching practices. In 2022, he was recognized as a member of the Outstanding Professors Circle.
His research focuses on educational innovation, particularly in the areas of gamification, emerging educational technologies, and the study of psychosocial constructs in STEM education.
