Hasan Abdulrahman received the Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from University of Montpellier in 2017. He is currently an Associate Professor and Deputy Dean for Scientific Affairs in Technical Engineering College for Computer & AI Kirkuk. And more than five years as a Head of the Department of Computer Techniques Systems at Northern Technical University. In recognition of his academic and research excellence, he was awarded a prestigious Postdoctoral Fellowship (2023–2024) through Campus France (Grant No. 144091Y).

Dr. Abdulrahman has established a strong international research profile through extensive contributions to high-impact scientific journals and conferences. He has authored and co-authored numerous peer-reviewed publications indexed in SCI and Scopus databases, including publications with IEEE, Elsevier, Springer, and Wiley. His research has been presented at several leading international conferences, where his work has gained notable recognition. Among his achievements, his paper presented at the WSCG 2017 was honored with a Best Paper Award.

He is actively involved as a QS Reimagine Education - Judge from 2023- 2026 until now

He is actively involved in collaborative international research at the IMT Mines Alès within the CERIS Laboratory (Centre d’Enseignement et de Recherche en Informatique et Systèmes), in cooperation with the University of Montpellier. His research interests span a broad range of advanced topics, including information security, cybersecurity, computer vision, deep learning, artificial intelligence, image processing, biometric systems, and big data analytics.

With more than 26 years of experience in higher education and scientific research, Dr. Abdulrahman continues to contribute significantly to the advancement of intelligent and secure computing technologies through academic leadership, international collaboration, and innovative research.
