Hatem Mabrouk is Professor of International Business at Tecnológico de Monterrey and Blockchain Leader at the Center of Digital Evolution, EGADE Business School. His work focuses on blockchain applications, digital policy, technology governance, international business, and emerging technologies. He is the founder of FMTO.com and has collaborated with academic, industry, and international stakeholders on initiatives related to digital transformation and responsible innovation.

In 2026, he was selected to represent Tecnológico de Monterrey at the United Nations Global Dialogue on AI Governance in Geneva, Switzerland. His research has been published internationally, and his teaching has been recognized through Tecnológico de Monterrey's Excellent Professor Awards and his selection to the Circle of Distinguished Professors.
